Meet the Team
Meet Miss Maddy - SC Supervisor

My name is Madison (Maddy) Humes, and I am the Summer Camp Supervisor at LVST! I graduated from Kutztown university with a dual major of Special Education and Early Education. I am currently doing my masters also at Kutztown in hopes of becoming a reading specialist! I have known from an early age that my dream is to become a teacher and I'm so thankful for everyone at LVST that is helping take another step towards my dreams.

Outside the classroom I like to read, travel, and go on any adventures I can! I am a huge fan of the 76ers and try to go to as many games as I can. I can't wait to see your campers grow this summer and have a fun time while doing it!
Meet Miss Yissel- PreK

Greetings and a big, colorful "Hello!" I'm thrilled to be one of the preK summer camp counselors this year and wanted to take a moment to introduce myself.

My name is Yissel, and I come to this wonderful preschool adventure with a heart full of excitement and a pocket full of crayons! I've had the joy of working with little learners like your precious ones for many years now, and each day is a new opportunity to ignite curiosity, encourage creativity, and make learning a magical journey.

A little bit about me! I have two amazing daughters of my own, a four year old and one year old. In my free time, I love spending time outdoors with my girls and going to the gym. I am very crafty so on the weekends you will find me on pinterest looking up DIY’s.
Little ones, get ready for a year of smiles, giggles, and small triumphs that will shape the foundation of your lifelong learning adventure. I'm excited to learn, grow, and create alongside each of you here at Lehigh Valley Sports Turf.
Meet Miss Kelly - PreK

Hi LVST families! My name is Kelly and I am beyond excited to be among the talented team of women here at LVST and being one of the lead preschool camp counselors this summer!
I graduated from Emmaus High School in 2018 and I have been working with children for the past seven years in a childcare and classroom setting. I have my Child Development Associate (CDA) credential and I am currently obtaining a degree in Early Childhood Education. I have one dog named Duke and a cat named Bubba which are my fur babies that I love very much.
In my free time I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, being active outdoors, and cheering on my boyfriend at the race track!
I can't wait to have fun with your kiddos this summer!
Meet Miss Jennifer - PreK

Hi LVST families! My name is Miss Jennifer and I am one of the lead preschool summer camp counselors here at LVST! I grew up in the Lehigh Valley and attended Bloomsburg University graduating with a major in fine arts and art history. I enjoyed cheerleading for basketball and football and played intramural softball as well. After graduating I was the artist for Wegmans where I created signs, murals and everything in between. When my children were going into Elementary school I decided it was important to me to be home with them so I started my own business, on ETSY, my shop was called PoshPaints and I sold, painted and shipped over 2000 paintings, all over the world! I remember hearing this alot-don't blink because before you know it your kids will be all grown up, my oldest, Logan is attending Kutztown University and Ty will be a senior at Parkland High School. They both play soccer, are hard workers and straight A students (I'm very proud of them!) I put my paintbrush down for a little while and took the opportunity to teach early childhood at a private school for the past six years. It's a joy every day! I love working with children and I'm very excited to be a part of the LVST family and look forward to having a fantastic summer!
Meet Miss Sammy - School Age

Hi Friends! My name is Sammy and I am one of the lead camp counselors this summer at the TURF for the school aged kiddos! I just graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School and during my time there I played varsity soccer and lacrosse. I am now attending DeSales University earning my degree in Nursing. I also play on the women’s soccer team at DeSales.

I have been working at LVST since July of 2020 and have shared and created so many memories here with all the kids that attend our programs . I look forward to more memories this Summer!
Olivia Nyce - School Age

Hello summer camp kiddos and parents! My name is Olivia, and I'm absolutely thrilled to be part of the summer camp program at LVST! A little bit about me! I played defense and forward for the Parkland Girls’ Soccer Team for two years until I tore my ACL and meniscus which ended my soccer career. Despite my injury, I still keep myself involved with sports as I run the soccer skills program here at LVST for our 3-6 year old kids as well as coach our U6 LVST team! I am a senior at Kutztown University where I am studying elementary education and visual impairment. With a passion for both soccer and working with children, I am committed to creating a fun and positive environment for all of the kids here at LVST!
Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Is lunch provided for campers?
A. Children must bring their own lunch to camp. We do not heat up any lunches. LVST will be doing pizza Fridays where children can participate in pizza for lunch ($3 for 1 slice or $5 for 2 slices).

Q. What should my child bring each day?
A. Children should bring a water bottle, lunch + AM snack/PM snack. We do have drinks and snacks at the facility if parents would like to purchase their child an LVST gift card to purchase items on their own during snack time.
Q. What should my children wear?
A. All children should wear comfortable athletic clothing, sneakers and socks. They MUST be wearing socks every day.

Q. Would my 5 year old be in the 3-5 preschool group or K-5th school age group?
A. Children who just completed Kindergarten will be in our school age K-5th group. If your child is going to Kindergarten for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, they would be in our 3-5 preschool group for the summer.

Q. Can I choose to enroll my child only certain days of the week/part-time?
A. Part time enrollment is not offered during our summer program. You may pick and choose the weeks you would to enroll in our camp program and you are not locked in for the whole 11 weeks of summer camp, but each week you enroll would be for all 5 days.

Q. What is the check in/check out procedure?
A. Children must be signed in by a parent or guardian upon arrival and signed out at pick up. We have a program we use call Brightwheel where parents can download the app to see picture or videos of your child while at camp. Brightwheel will also be the primary form of communication between parents and camp counselors.

Q. What is the refund/cancellation policy?
A. We ask for at least a 2 week's notice for any changes to the camp weeks you signed up to attend. Any changes made after that 2 week period will be subject to a $25.00 change fee in addition to the tuition due if your spot is not filled. You will be charged the Wednesday before the upcoming camp week and payment will be due by Friday. Refunds will not be given.

Q. How do I pay for camp?
A. You will receive an invoice via email from Square the Wednesday before each upcoming camp week you have registered for. Payment is due by Friday afternoon or the Monday morning before camp begins. You may pay using card, check, or cash, although check or cash is preferred.

Q. Does my child have to attend the field trips during weeks 3, 6, and 9?
A. If your child is enrolled in our 8:30am-3:30pm camp day schedule during Weeks 3, 6, and 9, then yes they are automatically signed up to attend the field trip. There is *NO* opting out of the field trips if you have your child signed up during these weeks for full day camp. A separate field trip payment will be due and exact amount will be announced 2-3 weeks in advance. Again-if you are signed up for the 8:30am-3:30pm, field trip payment will be owed, as your child has a spot reserved for the trips.
